The Elran Reclining Furniture Story
Elran began back in 1967 when Irving Lubin founded the company with the vision of designing and manufacturing reclining sofas and chairs, a new concept at the time. Since that time the company has grown to become the second generation family business it is today. Elran is currently led and managed by Sheldon Lubin and Eric Abecassis. Sheldon Lubin believes that Elrans success lies in offering extremely high quality furniture that meets the expectations of furniture buyers. Elan furniture designs are created to enhance modern lifestyles and improve the way we live today.
Superior Construction
Elran manufactures high quality reclining furniture perfect for the living room, the home theater, the open concept multi-purpose room and the home entertainment space. Sofas come with a power push button recliner and/or a manual handle, which can be internal or external. Swivel bases that rotate 360 degrees are available on most rocker recliners. Elan also offers glider rocker recliners and lift chairs. All Elran sofas and chairs feature superior construction grade spruce plywood that is specially dried for durability by eliminating the risk of warping or cracking. The company uses only 100% new polyester fiber, and furniture placement is easy with removable backs on all reclining furniture.
Elran Furniture Options
A huge array of options is available to furniture buyers, setting Elran reclining furniture apart from the competition. Shoppers will find that they can use multiple configurations to design a sofa to fit their space and their lifestyle. Sectionals can fit a right or left corner with a loveseat, square or round corner and sofa. Shoppers can choose to add extendable power footrests along with push back, reclining and adjustable backs. Some models feature power reclining headrests with a manual option available. There is a choice of arm styles, seat styles and back styles, and stationary options are available on some models.
Home Theaters
Elran reclining furniture is ideal for the home theater. Furniture buyers find reclining home theater seating with a choice of multiple repeating elements. There are options including reclining home theater seating with a curved console featuring cup holders and a silver or black finish. Straight consoles are also available. To add drama to a home theater, Elan offers console units with distinctive blue LED lighting.
please note: elran cannot guarantee that the color (dye lot) of the products purchased will be exactly as the sample used or shown at the dealer or as of previously purchased furniture. the color (dye lot) of fabrics, leathers and vinyl may vary from one batch to the next due to the commercial dying process and also their levels of tolerance.
parts: warranty covers manufacturing or material defects. the warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, excessive dirt and improper cleaning methods (see maintenance section).
foam & fibers: arms, seats and backs will soften with use it is inherent of this type of material. a regular fluffing of the fibers will help prevent flattening of interior fibers. for even wear, we recommend rotating the use of foam seats.
fabric, vinyl: warranty covers sewing defects and separation of fabrics. the warranty does not cover any fabric or vinyl supplied by the consumer. the warranty does not cover pilling, shrinking and fiber migration. the flattening of velvets and microfibers are a characteristic of this type of fabric and is not considered a defect.
leather: warranty covers sewing defects, tearing, delamination and depigmentation. leather is a natural material therefore variations in shade, grain, texture, as well as scars, brand marks, wrinkles, mosquito bites and stretch marks are normal and not considered defects.
please note: leather has a natural elasticity, with use, it will soften and stretch creating comfort pleats. this is not considered a defect.
warranties do not apply as stated if the product has been used for rental, for institutional or non-residential use, or has been modified by any individual or company without obtaining written consent from a duly authorized elran representative.
the limited warranty extends only to the original end user of the product and is not assignable or transferable to any subsequent purchaser/end user.
should spare parts or replacement material not be available, elran reserves the right to offer reasonable compensation instead of repair or replacement. in addition, if the model was purchased at a promotional or liquidation price, please find out from your dealer whether it is a floor model or discontinued model and whether certain aspects of the warranty are still in effect.
modern technology cannot guarantee that any fabric, vinyl or leather used in the repair or replacement process will be a perfect match, but elran will attempt to match the original shade as closely as possible.
fabric and vinyl: we recommend dusting and cleaning of your furniture on a regular basis. do not apply the vacuum nozzle directly on fabric or vinyl. we suggest using the soft brush attachment instead. for complete cleaning, we recommend consulting a professional cleaning service.
please note: some fabrics may pill or fade; this is not considered a manufacturing defect. to avoid discoloration, protect your furniture from direct, prolonged exposure to sunlight. shiny patches may appear on velvet fabric with use. this is normal and does not constitute a defect.
leather: we recommend using a warm damp cloth to clean, then wipe with a soft dry cloth. never use wax, cream, oil or detergent/soap on leather. clean your leather often to remove the dust, body oils and sweat. for complete cleaning, we recommend professional cleaning service.
foam and springs: for even wear, we recommend rotating the use of seats.
its simple, just call elrans after-sales service department directly at 514 630-5656 or 1 800 361-6546. you will need your original proof of purchase and the serial number of your furniture. this can be found on the label behind the seat.
please note: certain conditions of this warranty may be modified if the elran products are located in isolated areas or regions where there are no expert furniture repair technicians. elran is not responsible for the choice of repairman or the cost of transportation to the premises of the expert repairman. if you have purchased other services such as fabric treatments, extended warranties or cleaning services, please contact the company directly to file your service claim.

Great furniture and fantastic sales people
We purchased a large sectional, recliner, coffee table and area rugs. The owner and sales people assisting in insuring all pieces would fit perfectly in our space. All items were delivered timely. The table had a very slight manufacturier's defect and they replaced it without any questions or delays. Would highly recommend this store!!!
